Why Lapiplasty®?

Patients who are in pain desire to find relief as quickly as possible - The challenge is finding the right physician that has the foresight to provide “best-in-class” care, opting for technology that allows the ailment to be fixed right the first time.  As an expertly trained Podiatric Surgeon, I’ve found that the Lapiplasty® System is the best thing for me and the patients I treat when they present with a bunion deformity.  I love the fact that it is the most researched and proven system on the market and my patients find immense satisfaction in knowing I’m using the best technology when handling their care.

In other instances, when not using the Lapiplasty® System, physicians tend to choose less proven procedural solutions for their patients because it’s what they were trained on and what they have become accustomed to.  Unfortunately, these decisions, while clinically studied and employed with relative success short-term, rarely provide the long-term outcomes that patients truly desire.  This is why I choose Lapiplasty® amongst all other bunion solutions on the market.

About Me?

While the care for my patients is of the utmost importance today, it was something that was built into me at a very young age. Growing up in Plano, I always loved playing basketball.  My family loved it, my friends loved it, and through hard work and dedication I ultimately earned an opportunity to play basketball collegiately.  During my time competing, I regularly encountered pain in my lower extremities due to the rigors of competing at a high level, and I found myself consistently seeking out solutions to provide relief, but also to enhance my abilities on the court.  Thanks to this mindset, I gravitated towards medicine in post-graduate studies and have since dedicated my life to helping others that seek ways to improve their quality of life, as well.

To this day, I still love a lot of the things I grew up on – Spending time with family, caring for others, and staying active overall – I love running, playing golf, and rooting for my hometown teams. My daughter is currently attending University of Kentucky and my son is busy learning how to become a filmmaker in Savannah, Georgia.  I have a loving wife and as a family, we enjoy travelling together and are avid moviegoers.
